About Me…

I am a queer and non-binary multimedia artist and maker, unafraid to try my hand at any medium. Despite my formal training in ceramics and fine art, I have experience working across a wide spectrum of media, including clay, recycled/ plastic materials, textiles, various water and oil-based paints, photography, printmaking, textiles, technical drawings, and performance art.

I was very fortunate to grow up moving around Southeast Asia before relocating to the UK at the age of fourteen, so travel and concepts of belonging, home, and place have always shaped my practice.

Having found my passion for the arts at school, I continued my creative development through my Art Foundation Diploma at University Arts Plymouth (Distinction), before going on to read English Literature at the University of Birmingham (First Class with Honours).

Through my degree, I had the opportunity to travel, taking part in an exchange programme where I studied at the University of Melbourne. It was there that I found my fingers itching for more than just a notepad and pen…

Alongside whatever project I am working on, I always keep a journal— consistently leaning towards the documentary and the tactile. I view them as a space to record my ideas as roughly as I like (and to store all my collected inspirational paraphernalia)!
